Peggy B. Jolly (Ph.D., Alabama, 1975), Associate Professor of English, specializes in Rhetoric and Composition and directs the Freshman English and Developmental Studies program. She has co-authored Exercises to Accompany Holt Brief Handbook, 5th edition (1997) and has co-edited The Freshman Sampler, 4th edition (Kendall/Hunt, 1994), as well as numerous articles in the field of composition studies. She also interests herself in Alabama writers and has articles forthcoming in A Biographical Guide to Alabama Literature (Auburn University Press).
